UFC/NEW Unification Proposal Proceeds to UFC Member Vote

The United Farmers Cooperative's and NEW Cooperative's Boards of Directors have unanimously approved of proceeding with the unification process of the two Cooperatives. Therefore, the proposed merger will proceed to the United Farmers Cooperative Class A membership for a final vote.
Member meetings are planned for the week of May 15th. Ballots will be mailed around the same time and are to be submitted by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. If the membership votes in favor of a merger, the anticipated unification date is September 1, 2023.
Leadership from both UFC and NEW will conduct a series of employee informational meetings during the week of April 3. Specific dates, times and locations will be announced.
